Twelve TikToks a day

I’ve started posting on TikTok. I’m posting twelve times a day, and it is harder than it sounds.

Twelve is an easy number to say. Making twelve things worth putting in front of someone is a different task.

Working on these videos has made me more particular about explanations. Getting someone’s attention at the beginning is only one part. The next sentence needs to give them a reason to keep listening. Then the next one does too.

I want the person watching to get something real from the time they spend with a video. An interesting opening creates an expectation. The rest has to deliver on it.

I’m still early in this. Twelve posts a day describes the work I’m doing; it doesn’t tell me yet how well I’m doing it.

That part takes more than counting uploads.
