The product
Impakt turns a phone camera into a form coach. It counts repetitions, corrects movement while you train, reads a meal from a photograph, and wraps all of it in streaks, an AI coach you choose and personalise, and competition with other people.
My part in it
I work on the Flutter app as one of a large team, and more recently on the NestJS service behind it — the move from mobile developer to full-stack happened here, on a product with real users watching. On a team this size no screen belongs to one person; the work is features, fixes and releases, week after week.
Why it counts
It is the busiest codebase I work in and the one whose result is visible from outside: 4.7 stars across 206 ratings, with releases going out continuously since February 2024.
